Campus Access Requirements

Step 1. Vaccine Pass Requirement

Students are reminded to comply with the Government’s requirement of Vaccine Pass (VP) for campus entry (ref. Dosage Schedule for Vaccine Pass), which entered Phase/Stage 3 from 31 May 2022.

Step 2. Health Declaration

Fill in the Health Declaration Form (HD) before entering the campus and submit required documents as follows:

1. Students in general:

  • latest vaccination records or recovery records

2. Recovered persons:

  • recognized proof of recovery if they have not completed the full course of vaccine required by the VP (normal requirement will resume six months after recovery, ref. Recovered Persons)

3. Those with recognized and valid vaccination medical exemption certificates:

  • exemption record
  • COVID negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) based nucleic acid test result at least every 7 days to the HD

Step 3. Campus Entry Procedures

If you have fulfilled the above requirements, please follow the procedures below to enter the campus.

  1. If you have filled in the Health Declaration Form mentioned above after the completion of the Online New Student Registration, a QR code will then be generated for the campus entry. Please screen capture the QR code for the entry use;

  2. Present the QR code generated in the step above to the QR Code Verification Scanner at the entrance (next to the security counter), temperature checking will be carried out at the entrance; and


  3. Entry will be granted when all above requirements are satisfied.
  1. Make sure you have filled in the Health Declaration Form mentioned above in the eCampus before entering the campus;

  2. Tap your HSUHK card to the card reader at the security counter to verify the status of both your HSUHK’s identity and Health Declaration status. Temperature checking will be carried out at the entrance; and


  3. Entry will be granted when all above requirements are satisfied.
