No worries! Here is a checklist to guide you through your initial steps at HSUHK.
- 1st instalment of tuition fee payment deadline: 18 July 2025
- After your tuition fee payment is processed and the Registry has verified your submitted documents, and once the Immigration Department issues the student visa, you will receive an email with procedures for the New Student Registration (to your personal email address).
- Please refer to the email from the Registry (to your personal email address).

- All non-local students will receive a Pre-arrival Guide from the Global Affairs Office (GAO) via email, containing useful information to help you adapt to life in Hong Kong and HSUHK.
- Mainland students will receive an email invitation to the Online Preparatory Talk scheduled for 15 August 2025.
- After completing your student registration, you will receive an email from the Student Affairs Office (SAO) outlining to-do items for new students and information about various welcoming events organised by the university.

- You will receive an email from the Residential Colleges Section of the Student Affairs Office (SAO) with the details.

- New students are required to complete the online new student survey. Upon completion, a $100 printing credit will be automatically added to your student account.

- Module registration is scheduled for 19 & 20 August 2025 (Mock module registration: 14 & 15 August 2025)

- Please ensure you are clear about both the academic and non-academic graduation requirements for HSUHK undergraduates
- You will receive an email from the Registry regarding the collection of Student Card in early August 2025.
- New Student Welcome Day (for all HSUHK new students)
To help you familiarize yourself with the HSUHK environment and build networks with your peers, you are invited to join the New Student Welcome Day on 22 August 2025. - Welcoming Night for Non-local Students (for all non-local new students only)
To assist non-local students in adapting to Hong Kong culture and lifestyle, the Welcoming Night for Non-local Students is scheduled for 5 September 2025. The event will be conducted in Mandarin. Non-local new students will receive an invitation to this event via email.
- To assist new students in becoming familiar with the programs and support resources for their studies, your School/Department will organise Academic Sessions for new students.
